Phút 89, Atalanta bỏ lỡ 3 cơ hội trong chỉ một pha bóng, thủ môn Sommer cản phá cả cú đánh đầu của Djimsiti lẫn của Lookman, trước khi 2 cầu thủ này cùng cố lao tới dứt điểm bồi để rồi đưa bóng vọt xà.
Thắng 2-0, Inter Milan sẽ chờ diễn biến trận bán kết còn lại giữa AC Milan và Juventus để xác định đối thủ ở chung kết.
