2 min readMột người đàn ông được cho là đã đột nhập vào tòa nhà của hãng sản xuất Hoạt hình Kyoto ở phường Fushimi, phía tây thành phố Kyoto của Nhật Bản vào khoảng 10:30 sáng(8:30 giờ Việt Nam), đổ những thứ dường như là xăng xung quanh và đốt lửa. Người đàn ông này sau đó bị thương và nhập viện.
Nghi phạm ở độ tuổi 40 nói với cảnh sát rằng hắn ta đã đốt cháy tòa nhà.
Vụ cháy xảy ra tại xưởng phim số 1 của Kyoto Animation(Trong 3 xưởng). Theo Sở cứu hỏa thành phố Kyoto, ít nhất 38 người bị thương trong vụ nổ và 10 người trong số họ đang trong tình trạng nghiêm trọng.
Khoảng 30 xe cứu hỏa đã được huy động để dập tắt đám cháy.
