Những lỗi vi phạm giao thông tăng mức phạt 20-30 lần từ năm 2025
2 min readThông tin được nêu trong Nghị định 168/2024 quy định về xử phạt vi phạm hành chính trong lĩnh vực giao thông đường bộ; trừ điểm, phục hồi điểm giấy phép lái xe, có hiệu lực từ 1/1/2025. Nghị định 168 sẽ sửa đổi, bổ sung một số điều của Nghị định 100/2020, Nghị định 123/2021.
Tại Nghị định 168, nhiều lỗi vi phạm giao thông sẽ bị tăng mạnh mức xử phạt. Cụ thể, tài xế ôtô tham gia giao thông vượt đèn đỏ sẽ bị phạt 18-20 triệu đồng. Mức phạt này cao gấp hơn 3 lần so với quy định hiện hành là 4-6 triệu đồng. Tài xế vi phạm nồng độ cồn ở mức 0,25-0,4 mg/lít khí thở hoặc 50-80 mg/100ml máu sẽ bị phạt 18-20 triệu đồng, tăng 2 triệu đồng.
Ngoài ra, một số hành vi như vận chuyển hàng trên xe không chằng buộc chắc chắn; cản trở, không chấp hành yêu cầu kiểm tra, kiểm soát của người thực thi công vụ; không chấp hành hiệu lệnh chỉ dẫn của người điều khiển giao thông… sẽ có mức phạt cao gấp từ 3 đến 30 lần so với hiện hành.
Các quy định về quay đầu xe trên đường cao tốc, đi ngược chiều hoặc lùi xe trên cao tốc, đi xe máy vào đường cao tốc cũng được cụ thể hóa với mức phạt tăng gấp 2-3 lần.

Theo Cục Cảnh sát giao thông, Bộ Công an, tình hình trật tự, an toàn giao thông và tai nạn, ùn tắc, nhất là tại các thành phố lớn vẫn diễn biến phức tạp, gây thiệt hại lớn. Trong khi đó tình trạng vi phạm giao thông vẫn phổ biến nên cần thiết lập lại trật tự văn hóa giao thông.
Bởi thế, ban soạn thảo Nghị định sau quá trình nghiên cứu, kế thừa những kết quả đạt được và tham khảo kinh nghiệm của nhiều quốc gia đã nhận thấy “cần tăng mức xử phạt đủ mạnh để đảm bảo tính răn đe”. Đặc biệt là với một số nhóm hành vi vi phạm có lỗi cố ý nguy hiểm, trực tiếp gây ra các vụ tai nạn giao thông nghiêm trọng.
Một trong số này là hành vi không chấp hành hiệu lệnh của tín hiệu đèn giao thông, chạy quá tốc độ, quay đầu, lùi xe, đi ngược chiều, đi vào đường cấm, khu vực cấm, lùi xe, đi ngược chiều trên cao tốc, chạy lạng lách, đánh võng, rải vật sắc nhọn…
