Inter Milan khẳng định tham vọng bảo vệ chức vô địch Serie A mùa này bằng chiến thắng 6-0 trước Lazio. Đoàn quân của huấn luyện viên Simone Inzaghi hiện chỉ xếp thứ 3 với 6 điểm kém đội đầu bảng Atalanta, nhưng vẫn còn trong tay 2 trận chưa đá.
Trong 2 trận đấu đó, Inter hoàn toàn đủ khả năng giành trọn 3 điểm khi tiếp đón Como trên sân nhà. Tính cả chiến thắng 6-0 trước Lazio, Nerazzurri đã trải qua 8 chiến thắng trong 10 trận gần nhất, ghi đến 30 bàn thắng.
Inter Milan gần đây cũng chơi chắc chắn ở hàng thủ, giữ sạch lưới 4 trong 6 trận sân nhà vừa qua. Alessandro Bastoni và Stefan de Vrij vẫn đang là điểm tựa vững chắc của đại diện thành Milan.
Với Como, họ đang có tinh thần lên cao sau chuỗi 3 trận liên tiếp bất bại tại Serie A, bao gồm cả chiến thắng 2-0 trước Roma trong vòng đấu gần nhất. Những kết quả khả quan này giúp Como có đến 15 điểm và dần tránh xa khỏi nhóm nguy hiểm.
Bất chấp phong độ tốt vào lúc này, Como vẫn kém xa Inter Milan về mọi mặt. Hơn nữa, lịch sử đối đầu cũng không ủng hộ Como, khi họ chưa từng biết đến mùi chiến thắng khi làm khách tại Inter kể từ năm 1950. Trong lần chạm trán cuối cùng giữa hai đội vào mùa giải 2002-2003, Como cũng nhận thất bại 0-6 trước đối thủ.
Bởi vậy, sẽ là một bất ngờ lớn nếu đoàn quân của huấn luyện viên Simone Inzaghi không thể giành trọn 3 điểm trong trận đấu này.
Tình hình nhân sự
Nicolo Barella, Benjamin Pavard và Francesco Acerbi của Inter Milan đều phải ngồi ngoài vì chấn thương. Những cầu thủ như Hakan Calhanoglu, Lautaro Martinez, Marcus Thuram và Stefan de Vrij có thể sẽ trở lại sau khi ngồi dự bị ở Copa Italia.
Bên kia chiến tuyến, Como cũng có vấn đề chấn thương của riêng mình, với Maximo Perrone, Marco Sala và Alberto Moreno đều phải ngồi ngoài. Andrea Belotti sẽ dẫn đầu hàng công một lần nữa với sự hỗ trợ của Nicolas Paz.
