Hà Tĩnh lại cháy rừng giữa đêm, phát loa kêu gọi dân dập lửa

Một nhân chứng có mặt tại hiện trường cho biết, người dân sống quanh khu vực xảy ra cháy rất nhiều, nguy cơ ảnh hưởng tới 20-30 hộ dân.
“Tối qua xảy ra cháy ở núi Cồn Léc, địa phận thị trấn Phố Châu tiếp giáp với xã Sơn Hàm. Ngọn lửa đã được khống chế, ay bùng phát trở lại”, nhân chứng cho hay.
Chủ tịch UBND thị trấn Phố Châu Phan Xuân Định cho biết, do địa hình dốc, vụ cháy xảy ra giữa đêm, lửa bùng phát nhanh nên công tác chữa cháy gặp nhiều khó khăn.
“Nhận được tin báo cháy, chính quyền xã huy động hàng trăm người dập lửa, trong đó có cán bộ, công chức. Chúng tôi phát loa kêu gọi toàn dân lên núi dập lửa nên đến 23h40 ngọn lửa đã được khống chế”, ông Định nói.
Cũng theo ông Định, lực lượng chức năng đã phát đường ranh, không cho lửa cháy sát nhà dân. Sau khi ngọn lửa được khống chế, đơn vị tiếp tục cử người túc trực theo dõi, hạn chế lửa bùng phát trở lại.
Trong 3 ngày qua, Hà Tĩnh liên tiếp xảy ra cháy rừng trên 200ha của 4 huyện là Hương Sơn, Nghi Xuân, Hồng Lĩnh và Cẩm Xuyên. Tại huyện Nghi Xuân, ngọn lửa cháy lan rộng, tái phát nhiều lần. Tính đến nay, có khoảng 60ha rừng thông thuộc rừng phòng hộ bị thiêu cháy.
