Nạn nhân là bà Nguyễn Thị Dương (76 tuổi, trú phường Bồ Đề, quận Long Biên, Hà Nội).
Bà Dương khi đó đến nhà cháu ngoại ở cùng phường và đang nói chuyện với cháu thì bị con chó của gia đình bất ngờ xông ra tấn công.
Nữ gia chủ nhanh chóng tìm cách tách con chó khỏi bà lão nhưng bất lực. Đến khi có một thanh niên trong ngõ cầm gậy đuổi đánh thì con chó mới ngưng cắn nạn nhân.
Trao đổi với Zing.vn, lãnh đạo UBND phường Bồ Đề cho biết bà Dương đang được điều trị tại Bệnh viện Việt Đức trong tình trạng đa chấn thương ở tay trái và đùi phải.
Cơ quan chức năng đã yêu cầu gia đình theo dõi con chó xem có bị bệnh dại hay không.
