Hàng trăm hộ dân sống trên đường Hạ Đình và ngõ 342 đường Khương Đình giáp nhà máy bóng đèn, phích nước Rạng Đông bị ảnh hưởng từ vụ cháy kéo dài hơn 6 tiếng đồng hồ. Đến 0h30 đêm qua, ngọn lửa vẫn âm ỉ cháy trong khu xưởng rộng hàng nghìn m2, hàng chục chiến sĩ vẫn đang chiến đấu với “giặc lửa”.
Lực lượng chức năng và công an quận Thanh Xuân khuyến cáo người dân sống quanh khu vực không nên ở trong nhà, vì nguy cơ đám cháy có thể lan sang khu dân cư, ảnh hưởng của khói gây ngạt khí. Đồ đạc được sơ tán, chất đầy ngoài đường.
Người dân vạ vật xuyên đêm ngay trước nhà mình
Khắp các ngõ ngách đường Hạ Đình, nhà nào có trẻ con thì được sơ tán đến nơi khác để ở, còn lại hầu hết người dân ở lại trông coi đồ đạc.
Vẻ mặt phờ phạc, bà Nguyễn Thị Lan (số nhà 113 Hạ Đình) cho biết nhà bà bán tạp hóa nên hàng hóa rất nhiều, gia đình phải huy động 20 người họ hàng từ các quận đến để bê đồ sơ tán ra ngoài. Đêm qua bà phải thức trắng trông đồ, chỉ mong lửa không bén vào nhà mình.
