Theo báo cáo quản trị mới nhất của Tập đoàn Vingroup công bố đến nửa đầu năm 2024, ông Hoàng không sở hữu cổ phần Vingroup.
Người con trai thứ 2 trong gia đình tỷ phú Phạm Nhật Vượng sinh năm 2000, trước đây ít xuất hiện trên truyền thông. Ông từng được biết đến là Giám đốc marketing toàn cầu của VinFast.

Tuy nhiên gần đây, ông Hoàng đã nắm giữ vai trò chủ chốt ở nhiều công ty khác nhau và xuất hiện ở nhiều sự kiện lớn của tập đoàn.
Ông Hoàng là người đại diện pháp luật kiêm Tổng giám đốc Công ty cổ phần Thương mại và Dịch vụ FGF – doanh nghiệp hoạt động trong lĩnh vực mua bán và cho thuê xe điện VinFast. Tại công ty này, ông Phạm Nhật Vượng là cổ đông sáng lập, nắm 90% vốn.
Ông Hoàng còn cùng với anh trai đều nắm giữ 5% cổ phần Công ty Nghiên cứu Phát triển và Ứng dụng người máy VinRobotics. Doanh nghiệp này hoạt động trong các lĩnh vực nghiên cứu, phát triển và chuyển giao công nghệ tiên tiến, đặc biệt là các giải pháp tự động hóa, robot công nghiệp và trí tuệ nhân tạo (AI).
Bên cạnh đó, ông Hoàng cũng từng tham gia đón tiếp Tổng thống Bulgaria tại nhà máy VinFast Hải Phòng hồi tháng 11/2024, cùng bố và anh trai đi ăn phở cùng nhà sáng lập Nvidia Jensen Huang. Ông Hoàng còn xuất hiện tại sự kiện Lễ trao giải Khoa học – Công nghệ toàn cầu VinFuture 2024.
