Cầu BOT vừa ngưng thu phí đã bị sập đoạn giữa
2 min readThông tin ban đầu, thời điểm cầu sập có 1 xe tải chở 20 tấn bột mì và 1 xe ba gác chở lúa. Vụ sập cầu đã làm xe tải và xe ba gác rơi xuống sông và gây ảnh hưởng trực tiếp đếp một phương tiện thủy ở bên dưới cầu. Theo thông tin ban đầu, có ít nhất 4 người tham gia ở 2 phương tiện này. 2 cá nhân trên xe ba gác bị thương khi cầu sập xuống sông.
Cầu Tân Nghĩa bắc qua sông Nguyễn Văn Tiếp bị sập đoạn giữa.
Đây là câu cầu được xây dựng theo hình thức BOT (xây dựng – kinh doanh – chuyển giao) do Công ty TNHH BOT xây dựng Đồng Tháp làm chủ đầu tư với mức đầu tư khoảng 5 tỷ đồng. Công trình này được khởi công vào năm 2005 và đưa vào sử dụng từ năm 2007.
Thời gian thu phí bắt đầu từ năm 2007. Thời điểm tháng 2/2019, địa phương đã thống nhất với nhà đầu tư mua lại trạm thu phí qua cầu này. Như vậy, cầu ngưng thu phí sau hơn 10 năm khai thác và đã bị sập.
