Theo Neowin, Apple vẫn đang phát triển hai mẫu tai nghe chụp đầu không dây từng lộ thông tin từ năm 2018. Sự tồn tại của sản phẩm từng được nhắc lại vào tháng trước khi có lập trình viên phát hiện ra biểu tượng tai nghe chụp đầu trong phần mã nguồn của iOS 14.
Mới đây, một nguồn tin thân cận với dự án chia sẻ trên Bloomberg rằng công ty có trụ sở tại Cupertino sẽ xuất xưởng loại tai nghe có thể thay đổi các bộ phận với nhau và có ít nhất hai phiên bản. Một trong số đó sẽ làm từ vật liệu thoát nhiệt và hơi ẩm, hướng đến nhóm khách sử dụng khi tập thể thao. Nhằm tạo nét khác biệt của sản phẩm so với thị trường, Apple có thể tận dụng khả năng thay đổi chi tiết trên tai nghe nhờ kết nối nam châm.
