Người dùng dễ dàng thay thế bộ phận tai nghe, đồng thời tận hưởng tính năng khử tiếng ồn như trên AirPod Pro và điều khiển bằng giọng nói với Siri.
Theo Neowin, Apple vẫn đang phát triển hai mẫu tai nghe chụp đầu không dây từng lộ thông tin từ năm 2018. Sự tồn tại của sản phẩm từng được nhắc lại vào tháng trước khi có lập trình viên phát hiện ra biểu tượng tai nghe chụp đầu trong phần mã nguồn của iOS 14.
Mới đây, một nguồn tin thân cận với dự án chia sẻ trên Bloomberg rằng công ty có trụ sở tại Cupertino sẽ xuất xưởng loại tai nghe có thể thay đổi các bộ phận với nhau và có ít nhất hai phiên bản. Một trong số đó sẽ làm từ vật liệu thoát nhiệt và hơi ẩm, hướng đến nhóm khách sử dụng khi tập thể thao. Mẫu còn lại dành cho người có nhu cầu sử dụng tai nghe cao cấp hơn, sử dụng vật liệu sợi giả da.
Apple xác định sẽ cạnh tranh trực tiếp với các thương hiệu tai nghe danh tiếng như Bose, Sony, Senheiser. Vì lẽ đó, một tính năng không thể thiếu trên sản phẩm là khử tiếng ồn (đã được trang bị trên AirPod Pro). Khả năng điều khiển bằng giọng nói với sự trợ giúp từ Siri nhằm hạn chế thao tác chạm để điều khiển cũng có thể xuất hiện.
Theo Phone Arena, nguồn tin cũng khẳng định nguyên mẫu tai nghe có thiết kế phong cách “Retro” với hai chụp tai hình bầu dục có khả năng xoay và kết nối với nhau bằng phần khung đỡ từ thanh kim loại mỏng.
Nhằm tạo nét khác biệt của sản phẩm so với thị trường, Apple có thể tận dụng khả năng thay đổi chi tiết trên tai nghe nhờ kết nối nam châm.
