FIFA giáng CLB Việt Nam xuống hạng Ba
3 min readÁn phạt được FIFA đưa ra vào tối 2/5, giờ Hà Nội. Hạng Ba là thấp nhất trong hệ thống thi đấu của bóng đá Việt Nam. Ngoài Phú Thọ, CLB Muhoroni Youth cũng sai phạm tương tự, và bị giáng xuống giải hạng Nhất Quốc gia Kenya.
Quyết định của FIFA có hiệu lực cao nhất mà LĐBĐ Việt Nam (VFF) không thể can thiệp. Phú Thọ có 10 ngày để kháng cáo.

Theo nguồn tin của VnExpress, Phú Thọ bị nghi ngờ từ giải hạng Nhất Quốc gia 2023-2024. Sau 20 trận, đội xuống hạng do xếp cuối với 6 điểm, khi chỉ thắng một và hòa ba. CLB chỉ ghi 6 bàn và thủng lưới 43 bàn.
Đến đầu giải hạng Nhì Quốc gia 2025, Phú Thọ tiếp tục đứng cuối bảng A. Đội toàn thua ba trận, lần lượt trước Bắc Ninh (0-4), Qảng Ninh (0-3) và U21 PVF-CAND (0-3).
CLB Phú Thọ được thành lập từ năm 2019 và bắt đầu từ giải hạng Ba. Trong giai đoạn đầu, đội có 25 cầu thủ từ 18 đến 20 tuổi, với nòng cốt là từ lò SLNA. Sau đó, Phú Thọ thăng hai hạng trong hai mùa giải, để có mặt tại hạng Nhất năm 2021. Đến mùa 2023-2024, đội xuống hạng Nhì.
